Kindle: The Gift idea for Someone you love

1. I bought the Kindle for my daughter in her 25th day on – calling constantly. Best gift ever! She really loves him … Who is not. She brought him to her friends and everyone wanted to see him and he loved it too. She read to them by the pool, the sun has no effect on it, so comfortable. I knew it would be a fantastic gift when it’s something I want. Gift cards would be nice, so they could buy books as gift.

2. Kindle2 bought a gift for my wife – she is a voracious reader. Not only it is very convenient, but now I do not need to take the papers out. I also like the convenience of wireless downloads. She now subscribed to our paper outside and we get a much wider variety of opinions and ideas. The only thing he missed was a cartoon on Sunday morning. However, it is a small price to pay for such an expanded range of information. This wave of the future. As price falls I must give it as a gift to other family members.

3. I got the kindle as anniversary present day. After living with me for 50 years, have been attentive to the fact that: (1) I always had the book on the dresser, (2) I always carry a book in the car, (3) I usually have a paperback in my purse. Now we cut it becomes clearer that we do not have a place to store purchases often our schools. Now I can carry with me some books that I want to read one small package that is smaller than the average soft. In addition, the ability to adjust the print size is a real gift.

4. Kindle my Christmas gift, and I ever so grateful. It’s much the best gift I have ever received and exceeded all my expectations. I’m so surprised how fast it easy to download the entire novel not to mention the convenience of receiving my local newspaper every day. The price of the first novels to run so much cheaper than going to my local bookstore. Now I can carry a whole library of my books with me wherever I go. I love to show it. I’m the envy of all my friends worm books. As you can see I have no complaints what so ever …..

5. This Kindle2 was purchased as a gift to my mother. Is 73 years younger seems to have a great time to learn new technology as well as read books. Whispernet is a new experience. To be able to access your Gmail on your Kindle is a bonus to reading the book in her abilities. So far only draw back to not being able to access Whispernet in Europe. All odds it will happen in the near future?

6. As someone who travels a lot and always carries several books, Kindle is a special gift. I no longer have to carry heavy books, but they can carry different on my Kindle. Now I tend to read a few at a time. I love the feature to download samples of books to learn if I want to read more and then download entire books in minutes. And when I accidentally dropped it and its screen is no longer functioning, it was replaced immediately free of charge by Amazon with the most useful service imaginable. I can not ask more. Kindle no longer a luxury for me, it’s necessary.

7. I bought the Kindle for my wife; three reasons: (1) She calls Advid; (2) This is the type of product is not Normaly acquire; and (3) she teaches freshmen computer science and she loves to lecture on the latest products.

That said – it was the best gift I can give. She read a dozen books this month than before; two young daughters (ages 7 and 10) read more often; she likes the e-mail function – which allows her to check her e-mail and check the weather on drilling.

I just had a chance to drill a few times, but now I want one of mine. Even my two daughters want one — even though they might settle for sharing.

8. I was lucky enough to view both the fan the Sony eReader in person to talk to someone who was both. I bought the Kindle because it features superb. I bought it as a gift to my daughter I’ve never seen a better response from someone in my life, including the time she received many wanted a kitten for Christmas. She really loves him! Opera with him shortly after her TV show day 1 you can get only $ 50 the word with a certain code. I wanted to return it to rearrange it to save 50 dollars (a significant amount) and 30 years my daughter was crying because she can not give it up for 2 weeks. I of course, not save $ 50. This is the best electronic device market! It Superceded all expectations. Someone debating whether or not to buy one, do not need another debate! Buy it!

9. I bought Kindle for Dad who, on a matter of 5 years on the computer gets confused and click the left or right-click my mouse. He could understand it … With the device. It was not easy for him as Amazon said it was, however once he finally broke the line called to help, things were nice there. They walked him through how to define it and use it. Since he constant. You may have someone coach you through the very basics, but to save you time them, they have to call the help line.
A great gift to anyone who loves to read!

10. Kindle is a great product that is also a great gift. I wish I had it years ago when I was doing so much flying (and books). It is easy to use, and you adjust it features quickly. Recreational reading now back to my daily habits, makes me stay away from too much TV … So much more relaxing.

Is the Kindle 2 EBook Reader in a League of Its Own Or What?

The largest online bookstore spearheading the resurgence of ebooks with its own kingpin ebook reader, isn’t that the perfect union? That was the original Kindle which took the world of reading by storm and we generally agreed that that was the peak of perfection. But no, not quite, we now have the Kindle plus-plus. Yes, the Kindle 2 has arrived, looking better and bringing more.

Like many other things, new-wave reading is electronic. If the e book reader is Oprah’s current favorite gadget, so will it be for many of her fans. Sure enough, the Kindles have been flying off the shelves. And why not, all-in-one shopping, purchasing and immediate downloading of books online anytime anywhere in the US and you don’t even need a computer for that as it’s done on the reader itself.

Plenty of new-brand e-book readers are coming onto the bandwagon fast and furious but the safest bet is still placed with the long established top two players: the Amazon Kindle and Sony PRS respectively. Between them they dominate the market and deservedly so. With the launch of the Kindle 2, the talk in reading circles is that Amazon has put itself in a league solely of its own drawing away even from the Sony PRS.

To get hold of the Kindle 2, you have to act fast. Stock-outs especially during peak seasons are nothing new with the Amazon Kindle. For back-to-back Christmases, they sold out long before the holiday proper. Quoted delivery lead time continues to be volatile due to all the rage that it is now. EBay may be an alternative marketplace for the red hot e reader but price premium may be needed to circumvent the crunch.

The Kindle may come in an off-white color but it’s really green at its core. Given that it’s going to revolutionize the way people read and the scale of its impact based on the its projected sales volume, it’s not difficult to imagine the number of trees that would be spared from being turned into paper for books which in turn benefits the environment and then ultimately us all, readers and non-readers alike.

The Kindle 2 is also easier for your pockets. Although somewhat pricey, it essentially pays for itself pretty quickly especially in the case of avid readers. Amazon ebooks cost half that of their paper counterparts. Shop, buy and retrieve books online through Whispernet directly on the reader itself and bypass the hassle and expenses of driving around and waiting in line. Free sampling of Amazon ebooks is also a standard practice.
